1 : The Scoop On U.A. Class 1-A
We also get to see Tokuda profile each member of the class as a refresher for viewers. I was prepared to snooze through this, but honestly, all it did was remind me of how much this show has a super-well balanced cast of literally twenty different characters, all of who feel layered, unique and fun.
1 : The Scoop on U.A. Class 1-A
A newspaper office, Juko News is trying to tell a story about All Might's retirement but the Editor-in-Chief wants a scoop since they are the last to write about the subject with regard to competition. The Freelance Journalist, Taneo Tokuda, arrives to help turn it into a good story. Analyzing the message of All Might after his fight against One For All, he thinks that it is not a warning to other villains, as everyone believes. He believes that All Might's last words are actually a message towards a student of the U.A. which he has chosen as his successor, telling him that it's his turn to take up his mantle.
The Editor-in-Chief asks that he already have an idea of who that is. Taneo replies that at first, he thought it could be Mirio Togata of The Big 3. However, due to All Might and Sir Nighteye's partnership ending, Taneo believes his successor is actually someone in Class 1-A. The Editor-in-Chief assures Taneo that she will obtain him the permission to interview class 1-A, but in return, he will only provide the scoop to her paper.
Taneo returns to Juko TV and pretends that he hasn't discovered All Might's successor, apologizing to the Editor-in-Chief for jumping to the wrong conclusion. Even though he isn't able to give Juzo News the story he promised, he still gives them a different scoop they can run: All Might eating meat buns. Editor-in-Chief loves the idea.
Nothing major happens in this episode as the photograph observes each class member. The members of Class 1-A commence their normal schedules and All Might gives Midoriya some snacks for the class while stopping by the dorms.
Being the number 1 hero means being a master of all: strength, speed, technique, and more. When it comes to the quirk with the greatest strength, class 1-A has a few notable contenders. My Hero Academia taught anime fans that everyone has their own talent and many different ways to utilize it for the better good.
Cooperativeness is a great asset but when it comes to school assessments as working together isn't always an option. Sometimes these heroes have no one but themselves to rely on to push forward. Strength doesn't mean everything all the time, but in this case, it does. Here are My Hero Academia's top ten strongest members of U.A.'s class 1-A.
Updated March 24, 2023 by Christine Mendoza: Times have changed since the debut of My Hero Academia all the way back in 2016, and while fans' love for the series has remained the same, the students at U.A. High haven't. Deku and his classmates have all gone through their fair share of adversity and in the end, came out as stronger fighters. The poor students of U.A. High have been pitted up against some of the most vicious villains the world of My Hero Academia has to offer but of course, they had the heart to persevere. Of course, all the talented students of U.A. are powerful in their own right, and over the course of six seasons, it's only natural that the tier list of who is the absolute strongest would change slightly. A few new entries have been added to keep fans up to date with the latest season of My Hero Academia.
Sato may not be always front and center, but he's definitely got what it takes to fight alongside the rest of his 1-A classmates. Sato's ability to essentially convert sugar into muscle power may not sound as flashy as others, but it ranks rather high when it comes down to raw strength.
When it comes to pure, raw strength, Momo Yaoyorozu isn't at the top of her class, but it is her quirk that brings her power. Momo's amazing Create quirk helps give her all the powerful tools she needs in order to take any enemy down; no matter how big they are. This quirk allows Momo to create any non-living material or object through her exposed skin. Create uses her fat cells to transform them into useful items in battle, helping in both close-range and far-range combat.
Mr. Class President himself, of course, needed to make an appearance when talking up class 1-A's strongest students. Iida's quirk "Engine" helps him achieve amazing speeds via the engines within his calves.
While he can shock his opponents, over usage of his quirk over a certain voltage incapacitated Denki, short-circuiting his brain and leaving him with his "dumb face" for the next hour. Denki may have tactical prowess (despite his less-than-stellar intelligence and book smarts) but can't top his classmates without learning how to attack without hurting himself in the process.
Not only does his quirk allow him mobility (sliding on ice), range, and amazing damage, his control over his quirk has progressed immensely throughout the series. His versatility and handle on his quirk make Todoroki one of the clear winners for one of the strongest in his class, as he has plenty of options when it comes to damage dealing.
Perhaps this isn't the number 1 fans may have wanted, or perhaps it's a bit cliche, but Deku is truly worthy of the top spot as the protagonist. The series is a retelling of Deku's story in which he already states that he ends up being the number 1 hero in the world. It's impossible to ignore, considering his potential, when talking about strength. Moreover, Deku's quirk, "One For All", inherited from All Might himself, naturally secures his spot as the strongest in his class.
After countless reimaginings of his quirk and how to properly utilize it, it's clear that the "One For All" flame is still going strong within Deku. And with Deku now on the road to being a hero with multiple quirks at his disposal, it's clear that his raw power levels are unmatched within his class.
Class 1-A are the main characters from the manga/anime franchise My Hero Academia. They are one of the most prominent classes at U.A. High School, consisting of students who train to become Pro Heroes.
Ever since the foundation of U.A. High School, Class 1-A has been regarded as one of the most successful due to its teachers and relevance in the Pro Hero community. During the Entrance Exam Arc, the most recent class is formed, consisting of main protagonist Izuku Midoriya. Shortly into the school year, Tenya Ida is appointed the Class Representative, with Momo Yaoyorozu as the Class Vice Representative. The homeroom teacher is Shota Aizawa.
After the Paranormal Liberation War, Izuku left U.A. High School and his classmates, giving them letters about how he has to stay away from them since his nemeses All For One and Tomura Shigaraki know that he is the wielder of One For All, so he must leave them in order to protect them. As he fought off the supervillains sent to capture him, Izuku began to sport an isolated and mature persona as he distanced himself from his usual kindhearted personality, but ultimately kept going so all of his loved ones, especially his classmates, could all smile together one day.
Meanwhile, the rest of Class 1-A found that Izuku has been working with Endeavor and the other top Pro Heroes to stop All For One and Tomura. Unbeknownst to him, his classmates were not satisfied with his goal since they were worried about him and knew he was isolating himself from his friends rather than considering in their favor. Tenya told Nezu that he and his classmates were Izuku's friends and they won't let him face his own burden alone, convincing Nezu to let them look for Izuku. They found him being confronted by the supervillain Dictator, getting beaten up by a mob controlled by his Despot Quirk until Katsuki Bakugo stunned him, setting the civilians free. Katsuki confronted Izuku, asking if he is smiling now. Izuku tells his classmates that he wants to keep going so they can smile, and he will fight them if they get in his way, leaving Class 1-A no choice but to confront Izuku.
Izuku formed a massive smokescreen to run away, but all of his classmates followed and told Izuku how much he meant to them. Koji pleaded with him to stop running away because Nezu wanted him back, while Hanta complimented his Blackwhip as he previously helped train Izuku with Blackwhip. Kyoka told him about how he helped her organize her notes and set up the school festival, which she really appreciated despite seeming like a small gesture. Mashirao told Izuku about him being was mad on the former's behalf during the sports festival, so he can't sit back while Izuku struggles. Izuku told his classmates that his presence was a danger to them as All For One could kill them, so he had to leave. Rikido tried to bribe him that he can't Eri's sugared apples if he doesn't come back, while Izuku replies that Eri won't need him anymore as she will be put in danger too. He was restrained by Hanta, Momo, Mezo and Fumikage, and told everyone to get away from him. Denki told him that even though they don't have much in common he is still his friend, while Fumikage entraps him with Dark Shadow, giving credit to Izuku for using Dark Shadow for defense. Izuku freed himself and flew away, telling his classmates that he can't sense any danger through Danger Sense, so he was fine as he continued to claim. He was stopped by Shoto's Heaven-Piercing Ice Wall, with him lamenting the look on Izuku's face and how his responsibility prevented him from crying. Tsuyu climbed across a wall to tell him that he matters to her and she shares the same feelings he does, because if he wants to be a hero, she and Class 1-A will make sure he doesn't live that dream alone.
In the world of My Hero Academia, being a student at U.A. is a dream come true for those who want to work in heroics. But even at U.A., every class is different, particularly during Izuku Midoriya's time there.
Class 1-A and 1-B both belong to U.A.'s Department of Heroics, but throughout the course of the anime, a significant gap forms between the students of the two classes. Both benefit from having Pro Heroes as teachers, but the students of 1-A go through unique experiences that allow them to shine brighter. While their notoriety comes with some perks, there are also a lot of disadvantages. 041b061a72
